Xclusive Partnership

Xclusive announce new partnership with international offshore racing team.

Xclusive Jets are delighted to announce the signing of a sponsorship agreement with local powerboat racing team SUNUS for the upcoming season.

Based in the South West of England, SUNUS Ocean Racing is a team formed by the partnership of highly experienced powerboat racer; Tom Montgomery-Swan and master boat builder; Michal Galczewski.

After a two-year spell away from the sport, Tom returned in 2016 to compete in the world's oldest endurance race; The Cowes Classic. The team are racing to raise money in memory of Tom's son Jasper, who sadly passed away a few weeks before his due date and was a stillbirth. Tom is using the sport as a platform to raise awareness for stillbirth and also the amazing charities that work to assist other families going through the tragic bereavement.

Not only have Tom & Michal recently claimed their Class C title, they are also fresh of the back of a fantastic performance at the 2016 Coniston Records Week. They successfully navigated their way to set a new speed record for Club Class Unlimited of 93.01mph, and also set a new Marathon record, clocking a speed of 89.22mph, eclipsing the previous record by 6.6mph!

The next challenge for Tom and the team, is to attempt to break the world speed record for the fastest circumnavigation of the British Isles this year. The record currently sits at 73 hours for the 2,056 mile journey. Joining Tom will be TV personality and explorer Ben Fogle, who has recently joined the team as their new C237 navigator, along with regular team mate Michal and a technician from the support crew. The team have set themselves a target of 50 hours to complete the challenge, only stopping to take on fuel. A true test of man and machine, the record will test the crew's physical and mental capabilities to the limit.

With the support from Xclusive Jets, the race team are now able to provide even more assistance to local hospitals, families and midwifes effected by stillbirth. We are hoping to propel the team's success and are delighted to be able to support a cause that is very close to our hearts.
